WHEAT as raw material for bread and animal feed is of strategic importance. Due to the high yield potential and engineering value of grain, wheat is considered to be the most valuable species of cereals. 

The varieties of wheat vary greatly in the value of economic and usage characteristics and also response to climate and soil conditions, therefore proper selection of varieties for agronomic and habitat conditions is essential for successful cultivation. Major elements of grain yield structure include:
 
  • the number of spikes per unit area
  • the number kernels in the spike
  • the weight of one thousand grains – TGW.
 
Wheat has the highest soil and nutritional requirements of all types of cereals. Therefore, to obtain high, good quality yield, it is essential to properly fertilise the soil and apply foliar feeding to support the development and growth of plants during periods of peak demand for nutrients.   

Fertilisation optimisation requires primarily the control of yield-increasing nitrogen action, through the adjustment of the pH of soil and its abundance in assimilable phosphorus and potassium, followed by the selection of appropriate doses and time for nitrogen fertiliser use. To increase the uptake and yield-increasing efficiency of nitrogen, it is necessary to balance it with secondary components, such as sulphur and magnesium, as well as preventive use of trace elements, among which particularly important are: copper (MIKROVIT COPPER or MIKROCHELAT Cu-15), manganese (MIKROVIT MANGANESE or MIKROCHELAT Mn-13 ), as well as molybdenum, normally recommended in the autumn, for example to increase the resistance of winter crops to low temperatures (MIKROVIT MOLYBDENUM).  Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and sulphur are supplied into the soil, complemented by foliar feeding, and for the trace elements, the entire demand of cereals may be  satisfied by foliar feeding. The yield size is determined by the good condition of plants - from germination and tillering through the development and maintaining an appropriate amount of stalks, heading, formation and growth of kernels.
 
STRESS CONTROL SYSTEM (SCS-WHEAT), a strategy of supporting the natural resistance of crops through the use of INTERMAG stimulants and activators, effectively improves wheat natural resistance to adverse environmental and cultivation conditions, hence reducing the risk of loss of part of the yield. 
Foliar feeding of crops with suitable nutrients (PLONVIT fertilisers) and promoting the growth of their natural resistance (OPTYSIL, TYTANIT biostimulants) improve proper crop development, health, and resistance to stress.All these treatments discussed in further tabs, significantly impact the increase in yield and its good quality properties.
