CONFERENCE IN DUBLIN

On March 27-29 in Dublin (Ireland) took place the 17th International Conference organized by the New Ag International magazine. It discusses new market trends, specialty fertilizers and biostimulants for foliar application and fertigation of plants. One of the speakers at this conference was PhD Krzysztof Ambroziak (Director of INTERMAG R&D department).

During the conference, the INTERMAG representative discussed the effect of chelates (Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn) based on biodegradable ligands for plant growth and development. They can be used for foliar feeding and fertigation in various cultivation techniques. The microelements chelated by biodegradable ligands are stable over a wide pH range (up to 12.5).

Results of research carried out in the R & D Department of INTERMAG (foliar fertilization in greenhouse cultivation), at the Institute of Horticulture in Skierniewice (foliar nutrition of peppers in the field cultivation) and at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław (hydroponically grown cucumber on rockwool and foliar nutrition of grapevine), showed high bioavailability of tested micronutrients by plants. Chelates have a beneficial impact on crops quality and quantity.

INTERMAG applied for a patent of Manufacturing technology of biodegradable ligands.
