STRETCH is an adjuvant to strengthen siliques, husks and ears during the harvest maturity phase. It is intended to reduce uncontrolled seed shedding in oilseed rape and legumes, as well as to reduce cereal grain sprouting in ears.
STRETCH – BENEFITS
STRETCH – mode of action
STRETCH forms a thin elastic film on the sprayed surface (without a need for sunlight). The semipermeable film allows water to evaporate from the sprayed plant surface and reduces the ingress of moisture to the inside, thus reducing the multiple wetting and drying of siliques and husks, which is the main cause of seed shedding.
STRETCH is also intended to prevent sprouting of cereal grains in ears in high humidity conditions caused by rain or fog. When applied on ears, STRETCH® can also prevent moisture ingress to the inside of the ear and to fully mature grains, thereby reducing the activation of enzymes (protease, lipase, and other hydrolytic enzymes) that initiate sprouting.
STRETCH – APPLICATION
STRETCH should be applied as an aqueous solution. The formulation can be used together with desiccants registered for the crop.
