PLANTICINE® – plant resistance biostimulator with effectiveness confirmed in scientific research

The natural defence mechanisms of plants can be used to reduce the pressure of pests and diseases in agricultural, orchard and vegetable crops.
The use of biostimulants such as PLANTICINE®, which are based on substances of natural origin, can reduce the use of many chemicals used in plant protection. PLANTICINE® contains substances of natural origin – oligogalacturonides – which are biodegradable and non-toxic to the environment. Test results have shown that PLANTICINE® can be effectively used as a natural inducer of plant resistance. Laboratory studies have shown that the use of PLANTICINE® changes the expression of genes in plants, leading to the activation of metabolic pathways involved in plant defence against pathogens. In greenhouse tests on tomatoes, the use of PLANTICINE® helped to reduce powdery mildew and spider mite damage. PLANTICINE® can be used as an element of integrated pest management and its use can help to reduce the use of pesticides in many crops.
